Tell Us Your Revival Experience
Most Spirit-filled believers have encountered some form of revival or major outpouring. We want to hear about your experience—whether it’s been at Lakeland, Brownsville, Toronto, Timbuktu or anywhere else in the world. How did it affect you? Were you saved during it? Healed? Scarred? What are the lasting results? What did you encounter during the ongoing meetings? Glorious outpourings of the Holy Spirit? Unusual manifestations? False teachings?

I'm a missionary in El Salvador, and we didn't make it to Lakeland, but we had a team from South Carolina come this summer, and all of the team members had either been in the meetings at Lakeland or at Morningstar. I sensed God was up to something so we set aside three nights to soak in the presence of God and to ask God to release the impartation this team had brought.
Those three nights were powerful. We pastor a youth church that meets in an old bar, and our target group are young people that normally don't go to church. The Spirit of God touched them powerfully. We invited a burn out pastor friend and his wife, and he was renewed and his wife was healed of a back ailment.
After the team left I wanted to see if the impartation would last and it did, and also if we took a team to another church would that anointing touch them as well, and it has. So our experience, although indirect, has been a positive one and continues to be so.
Maybe if we the body had spent as much effort on praying for Todd as we did criticizing him, maybe things would have gone differently. The resulting spiritual warfare and demonic attacks on Todd and his staff had to have been intense and in hindsight we could have all have supported him better.
I was soo hurt, puzzled, angry, felt cheated, conned and confused! What happenend in Lakeland is still happening and has been happening in our churches for far too long! Basically, the gospel that was freely given is now soo expensive that those with no dime just have to end up in hell! I cannot afford to buy my miracle, healing, deliverance or blessings because I dont have a seed(money) to sow! Either, I'm the worst farmer that ever lived because I have sowed and sowed and nothing comes my way! I have been duped by enough prophets, apostles, pastors, evangelists etc that now I have to look at my pastor with cautious eyes or any preacher on tv. All church leaders are playing with our faith, challenging us that we dont posses enough of it if we dont "sow". The tele-thons are the worst, because they tell us of how they need to spread the gospel and for that reason I have to sow! Our tithes are paying for mansions, jets, designer clothes, private education, vacations and new business ventures for these "God servants". Its almost impossible to listen to the sermons without the need of money not mentioned. The word of God has been so twisted that unless we read the bible ourselves and spend time with God, we will continue to be led astray. I believe judgement will begin at the altars and really, alot of preachers have blood on their hands. Now if I need my dreams interpreted, I have to pay for it! I can go to a prophetic school and learn how to be a prophet! Not that God called me, but because I can afford to pay! Angels are now gods. Please people lets go back to the bible and prayer closets and leave confrences alone. Dont spend another penny on those books on how to hear from God but lock yourself in a closet with a bible.
Homosexuality and adultery is the main character of most of our church leaders. Domestic abuse ia also an issue. The devil came to kill, steal and destroy. I wonder what is the difference between him and the church leaders of today! What has become of the shephard? Was God wrong in appointing them or did they appoint themselves.? Enough is Enough!
